Join Mason Arts Management Alumnus, Amanda Loerch ('22), for an invigorating discussion around best practices in ensuring that arts and cultural organizations are inclusive for audiences and visitors, from venues to museums to gardens to festivals. Topics will include accessibility specialists vs. generalists, permanent vs. on-demand accessible options, and freelance vs. agency service providers. All levels of field expertise and experience are welcome!
Amanda Loerch is a captioner with c2 and is the Director of Patron Services at Sixth & I in Washington, DC. Additional guest experts will include Carole Kreuger, Patron Services Manager of the Denver Performing Arts Complex, Diane Nutting, Accessibility and Inclusion Consultant, and Nicole Smith, Accessibility Specialist at the Detroit Institute for the Arts.
